Very relaxing stay, quiet place for summer holidays. Delicious selection for breakfast with sausages, fruit. Everything good. Really quiet area, charming location. Close enough to the sun, beer garden, and walks along the towpath.

The rooms here are bright and affordable, the service is excellent with convenient parking, and the location is peaceful yet near a pub garden and public transportation.

The weather was lovely and I had a perfectly pleasant stay during my 5-day business trip. Every staff member was experienced and excellent. I loved my well-furnished room and its comfortable decor. The location was magnificent and perfect, very close to the nearest pub, restaurant, and other establishments. The breakfast was delicious, I will definitely be back for another visit.

The location of the hotel was excellent - within easy walking distance of St Mary the Virgin. The staff was very attentive and experienced, so I will be back.

Nice and friendly staff. Room appears clean and well kept. Very nice area. 10 minutes walk to the bus stop (School). By bus (line 5) you can reach Stansted Airport or downtown Bishops Stortford.

Very small camping shower or toilet. The door doesn't really close when you're sitting on the toilet.

Comfortable beds, basic but clean amenities. Excellent locally sourced breakfast. Friendly owner and staff. Lovely peaceful location.

To find something adventurous, especially at night. But, all is well, nice house, nice reception. Room is very small, the bathroom needs getting used to, but basically everything fits. Can be booked without hesitation.

It is an old mill. Ideally you should arrive at Stansted Airport. Very nice for family holidays or long weekend.

The building was authentic, historical and interesting and the location was beautiful, lending itself to relaxed country walks alongside the river. The room was basic but very clean.

This place had a great location, close to a restaurant, the river, fields, and walking paths by the river Stort. It was tidy and perfectly fine for a quick overnight stay. 🌿

Thank you very much everyone for a very enjoyable stay during the course of our visit. All the staff was experienced and amiable, resolved our issues. We ate at a magnificent restaurant with very good food. The bed was lovely and there were a TV set and a lounge. The room was decent size and well-appointed, the location was beautiful remote.

The check-in process was very friendly, and it was convenient to have on-site parking. The location was fantastic, being close to a hotel/restaurant, a river, and the nearest pub.
